This is my favorite DHC product. Mixed with my daily moisturizer it makes my skin soft and imparts a youthful sheen. Not at all heavy or oily! Also, it does not irritate my rosacea.DHC deliveries are always super fast. I also love the samples. With my skin condition I never buy products without sampling first.

Now this worked well on my dry skin. I wanted to try it to see if it was any different from what I can buy in the grocery isle, and to be honest, it's not. I can buy the same thing in the organic section in the grocery store for less money. Sorry.

Comments:

My skin has become very dry in recent years because I've been using prescription retin-A creams and other medications for a variety of issues. I'm always on a lookout for new moisturizers, especially for daytime, because any kind of skincare I use during the day has to layer well under make-up, and it's hard to find good creams that layer well under make-up. My skin problems, from acne to melasma, require a lot of make-up. I was disappointed to discover that this oil product did not go well under my make-up. Even with the use of a primer, this product made my make-up cake on contact. In fact, I've been using DHC's own Velvet Skin Coat primer under this oil, but the velvet skin coat stopped being "velvety" and started being shiny when combined with this product. So then I tried using this oil at night, on those nights on which I use my retin-A cream. I normally use vaselin rather than some other moisturizer because I remember reading something that got me under the impression that the efficacy of retinol can be undermined by AHA and such, so I'm trying to avoid any kind of interaction. Well, I thought, a simple olive oil product may be just right to go over my retin-A cream. Alas, this product did not do enough to moisturize my skin at night. It simply didn't get absorbed. I woke up in the morning with my skin greasy like a greased parchment paper, and yet flaking underneath. So, for me, this product does not work. Glad I only bought a mini.
