We pour a small amount into a bowl, then add a dash of salt and a few drops of balsamic vinegar. It makes a wonderful dip for bread.Also excellent drizzled over navy beans. This is how my grandpa served it: Take a slice of French bread and place in the bottom of a bowl. Scoop hot navy beans over. Pour about a tablespoon of olive oil over the top. Then dust with fresh ground pepper and a salt to taste.
