I have tried both the apricot and the beige versions of this product and I have to say that I vastly prefer the beige. As a very fair skinned person, I am actually the target market for the apricot, but that shade for some reason makes my age spots stand out in sharp relief. The beige works as advertised: it evens out skin tone, and it does a very good job of it. I blended it out and didn't find it to be too dark for me at all. Mileage will very of course. Personally, I vouch for the beige but am not going to get the apricot again.

Very Happy
I'd tried samples of this primer and really liked it, but was skeptical if it would work under mineral makeup, which I use. Well I decided to try it and boy am I glad it did! Instead of making my foundation look splotchy like I'd feared, I actually found that my mineral foundation goes on smoothly and evenly. I have also noticed it gives my skin a nice glow. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it dries pretty quickly, which makes application a bit more challenging than I'd like. Overall, though, great product!

Apricot and Beige
Its predecessor had SPF, no mention of that on new packaging. Apricot good for the yellowish skin that goes with red hair; Beige best for evening out freckles and sunspots.

Instant Smoothing
I apply this no-makeup makeup over an SPF moisturizer. It smoothes the appearance of my skin, somewhat like a standard silicone primer but without that heavy "smeary" feeling those primers can provide. This product has a light, translucent tint. It is not a coverage makeup, so I also apply concealer under my eyes and a heavier foundation on my nose, butterfly area, and chin, because these areas tend to have some redness.

Works well but...
I really like this product. I am however not happy that it contains phenoxyethanol, the paraben replacement. Sorry DHC, you make great stuff but I have to say not to anything with this chemical.

Can't believe how well this works!
I finally tried a sample of the "apricot" shade after debating for months whether such a thing would work. I have combination skin that is also plagued by acne (as a middle aged woman, of course!), vitiligo (melanin no longer "works" so parts of my facial skin are mostly white), and scars from an accident when I was two years old. It has been a challenge to combine foundation shades and concealers to create a smooth look. Because this is a "moisture" product, I thought it wouldn't work on my skin, but I was wrong! The apricot shade colors in the parts that are white and makes my whole face look more evenly colored. Then, when I put on the foundation (a sheer tint with 20 spf), the two together work like magic! I haven't looked so even-toned in years. This product does not aggravate the acne, does not make my face feel oily. I am so grateful that I finally found it. I use it quite lightly -- a little goes a long way. It dries to a powder-like, matte finish very quickly (seems less than a minute) and wears beautifully all day. If you have uneven skin with whitish patches, then the apricot shade is definitely worth trying.

Love it!
This goes on smooth and light with great coverage! It doesn't feel like I'm wearing foundation like other products I've used. It's great for the under eye area b/c it's so light. This is definitely my new 'regular' product.

Not just a color base!
This product is much more user friendly than the original color corrector(think I will use that one for my lips only now). This new formula has a much silkier texture making it easier to spread and you'll find that once you apply it to an area with redness, you'll want to keep spreading all over because of the understated yet, highlighted effect it gives. I purchased the Apricot color and have fair to medium skin tone.Great product for all seasons!

This make up blends perfectly!
A little goes a long way. It leaves a smooth, almost flawless finish, but leave a "mask" look. It's very natural.

Not impressed, notice nothing. I am also disappointed that DHC does not provide samples for the foundations. I have spent money on two shades and the colors did not match

Love this product!
I wear it to work every day. Gives me a glow that looks natural. Covers small flaws but does not look like I am wearing makeup. I would also like to see this product with sunscreen added so I could wear it outdoors and look fabulous!
