Salicylic Acne Toner

I have been using the entire acne system for a little over a year now. I recently ran out of the toner and figured I'd be okay without it since I still had wash, spot treatment, and milk. But my face started breaking out a little. I made an order just for the toner so I could have it ASAP! I believe the toner is just as important as the rest of the system, and it's most effective when used together.

I want to say that I think this product has actually evened out my skin tone a little bit, especially around the lip & eye area. It sometimes dries out my skin though, which is uncomfortable especially around acne where it feels like the skin is already stretched enough.

Sine I started using the Salicylic Acne Toner, Milk and Spot Therapy, my skin looks the best it ever was! I am 50 and do not have acne, however after trying samples I was hooked on the way it made my skin feel. My 20 yr old and 17 yr old daughters also us it and they too love the products. DHC was the best kept secret my sister ever shared with me! I will never use any other facial cleaners.

I am 50 years old and since I started using my Salicylic Acne Toner,Deep Cleansing Oil and Olive Virgin Oil, I have noticed a definite change in my skin. It glows; it feels clean and I like how simple it is to do with these products. Once a week I use the AHA Renewal Creme and the Olive Soap. I love these products!

I have acne-prone skin with mild rosecea in my T-zone area. This toner keeps my skin clear while moisturizing my cheek area which tends to be dryer. Also, it does not seem to irritate my rosecea...a huge plus! I live in Colorado....high altitude dryness that is tough on skin. Every DHC product I have used works well for my skin type and the environment in which I live. Thank you DHC!!!!

Even though I am almost sixty; I love this toner. Maybe it is the salicylic acid. My skin was always sensitive and as a young woman and into my fifties my face occasionally broke out. The acne salicylic toner is a favorite. Maybe you should just call it Salicylic tone for people like me.

Like my mother, I never had acne as a teen but have adolescent skin in my 40s. But I just dab this in the acne prone spots and it's all she wrote. This will probably last me for ages. Just as DHC warns, if you use it frequently (several times a day) or stack this with other acne products you will probably dry out.

Since I have oily skin, I thought this product would help, but I have found no differece. Skin does feel clean but I feel it is a waste of money!

I thought, finally, something mild for my combination skin. It sure didn't turn out that way. Along with the face milk it burned my skin and sent me to my doctor. I'll never try this again!

I purchased the toner as part of the Salicylic acne set of acne wash, face milk, spot therapy, and toner. The face wash had AMAZING effects on my breakouts + wrinkles. The face milk was light and felt "healthy", the spot toner was effective. The toner, I wasn't sure exactly how that fit into what I needed. . until the hot and humid East coast summer. Useless to wear powder that either melted off or that I blotted off by the time I arrived at the office, I took the plunge of going entirely bare-skinned. After washing my face, I massaged in the DHC salicylic toner. Surprise! The toner seeped right into my skin, apparently doing something that prevented my cutomary hot weather breakouts. Surprise bonus! My skin felt clean and silky and very lightly moisturized. Shiny forehead was still a factor, but the shine from oiliness came only much later in the heat of the day. Now I massage in the liquid in the morning after I wash my face and again at night. Breakouts subdued, wrinkles not puckered and pulled with harsh drying agents. Fabulous. This entire line fits my body chemistry perfectly and accomplishes what no other product has been able to do - work for both breakouts and wrinkles.

My daughter started using the Salicylic line and it cleared her acne beautifully. She no longer has to use the expensive prescription meds she had been relying on. Her skin is absolutely beautiful now.
