This unique product is just wonderful for dry, itchy scalp. I agree with other reviewers that instructions for application are not very clear, but after I figured out how to apply the product (with the aid of one of the other reviewers), it really is easy to use & super effective.

I am scent and chemical sensative so I must be very selective in what I use. The application bottle and low scent has been a life saver for me.

I've tried it twice and it's not what I expected, I'm not loving it. I don't feel like it's worth the money. The great thing about DHC is that you can try products, they stand behind them, and refund you without a hassle. Unfortunately I will probably be returning this one, it may be great, I'm just not lovin it!

I love the product, but like other reviewers I had a hard time getting it out of the bottle and ended up either shaking into my hands/finger tips and then massaging in, or taking the entire top off and just pouring into my hands to use. I love how it feels, however, but just very hard to apply.

I like the application- doesn't seem like you're doing anything, but you really get a small amount of oil right on the scalp. DHC could do a better job of communicating how to apply the oil, though, since many people are confused. I bought this to combat winter dryness- itchy, flaky scalp. It hasn't helped. I've used it for several weeks. Oh well, I still like the idea and will keep using it in case there's some long-term benefit.

I use this product once a week before shampooing to dissolve build. But it does more than that it softens the hair making it shiny and silky. As with most DHC products you only need a little bit, therefore making the product cost effective as well. My hair is so healthy now!

This is the first time I have tried the product. It works once it gets on the scalp. The directions on how to use it is time consuming. For me I want to get it on my scalp quickly so I can wash my hair! I found that shaking the oil onto my fingers and then massaging it onto my scalp works just fine. The results...clean hair and scalp. I use a lot of hair products, so removing it from my scalp makes way for healthy growing hair. Now my husband who doesn't have much hair is using it to remove the build up of sebum on his scalp. I really like what it does.

I use this on my 8yo son who has dry scalp. It is wonderful! Wasshes out fully, makes his hair really soft and take care of his scalp.Initiallly, I used it twice a week, now once a week is fine.

This product received some good reviews, but it didn't work for me. I prefer the Scalp Conditioning Shampoo, which I think works better than this oil at reducing scalp itching. I agree that it's difficult to get the oil to drip out of the bottle, but if you remove the cap it will pour out very well.

Alittle hard to get oil out of bottle. But the product is the best. After using it a few times I can already see a big difference in my "very" dry scalp. I'm very pleased.........

I first used this product on a hunch for my husband's dandruff which he had for years. After just a few uses, no dandruff. Now,I find the product wonderful for just keeping my scalp moisturized. Shines my hair, too.

I GOT IT FOR MY HUSBAND AT HIS REQUEST AFTER I GAVE HIM SOME SAMPLES. HE ASKED ME TO GET MORE FOR HIM BECAUSE HE LIKED IT SO MUCH. EVIDENTLY HE WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.

I usually have to use Derma-Smoothe FS, a prescription steroid peanut oil solution for my scalp psoriasis. But Head Oil offers a nice alternative so I don't have to use steroids all the time, which is a worry. I recommend that anyone with scalp psoriasis give this a try. I think it might have made my hair look better too.
