This powder does everything for me that I expected - feels very lightweight and natural, not "cakey". Just as it says it is perfect for AFTER foundation, it is. If you want it for color and/or to cover blemishes (instead of foundation and concealer), this is not the product you're looking for. There is no color, and so I think the people complaining that it has an unnatural color (too light) are using too much of it. You really just need to tap a little onto your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin and smooth out with the soft puff provided. The color of your foundation will shine through perfectly. I tend to get oily, and I still look fresh at the end of the day, which is great!

I always reach for this powder when I want to quickly get ready to go out but still look good. Very light. Very adaptable to my skin. Don't let the chalky appearance of the powder scare you off. It blends beautifully and controls oil for quite a while. Love it!

I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, but this powder is a must-have for me. It keeps my face looking soft, silky, and oil-free all day. And, the puff that comes with it is the softest thing I've ever put to my skin!

This is not a very heavy powder. It is not for masking huge flaws, however, used with a foundation it works just fine. I love how it goes on without discoloring my face. I am very fair and most powders, when used with a foundation, lend their own color to my skin. I like that I can wear a foundation, use this powder and it still stays the color of my foundation. No breakouts, doesn't melt into lines even in hot weather. It is a very good light finish powder.

I have found a powder that I plan to stick with. It wears well over foundation or just by itself. I never have to blot excess oil during the day or smooth out areas where it has settled into lines.

With hot flashes and the heat of summer, my face gets shiny, particularly my forehead and nose. This product controls the shininess of my skin without introducing color to my face. It gives a minimal matte appearance to my pale olive skin, without looking like I applied makeup. In my case, I don't usually wear foundation because I don't like the mess of makeup, and I don't need to present myself with flawless skin. This product is clean and neat and minimal.

This is the best powder ever! I put on the Velvet Coat and then powder if I want a light coverage on my face and not full make up and it always looks great. The powder is great as well when I wear full make up it sets up as a base very well. I love this powder and highly recommend it!

I like to use a loose powder and this one is OK. It does not make my skin dry and this is why I like it.

This is a nice powder if you worry about your foundation and powder mixing to a different color. This translucent powder doesn't add any extra, unneeded color yet still sets foundation well. I have noticed that in the oilier parts of my skin though, it does cake up a bit and lets the oil come through so it doesn't stay smooth all day.

I use this everyday to set my make up, I have an oily t-zone this used with DHC Matte Cream takes care of shine.
