You can always cook your own steel cut oatmeal but I find these the most convenient for taking to work and having a healthy breakfast. Always fresh. I add some sliced almonds and dried blueberries. Delicious!

I keep this in my desk drawer for those days when I can't get away for lunch. My personal recipe includes one individual coffee mate creamer (11ml) and then I add that same amount of water three times, much like you would add a can of milk and/or water to condensed soup. That comes out to 3 Tbsp and adds a little extra creamy flavor. I discovered this combination when I realized I didn't have a measuring spoon at the office!
